Applications for the Fall 2008 term will be available July 1, 2007

We welcome your interest in the University of Dallas and look forward to receiving your completed application. As a selective institution, UD seeks students who have pursued a challenging balance between academic and extracurricular activities. The Admission Committee is particularly interested in identifying students who have demonstrated dedication, determination and discipline. When completing the application, you should take care to present your academic and extracurricular accomplishments accurately and completely. The Admission Committee reviews each candidate individually, evaluating the potential for success at UD in light of previous academic performance, candid recommendations, standardized testing and personal qualities. Be sure to submit official documents that reflect your most current grades, scores and activities.

Admissions Policies and Procedures

All applicants
  • Please fill out the online application as thoroughly as possible.
  • When you are finished, click the 'SUBMIT' button on the left column of any application screen.
  • Print the application agreement statement that appears after you submit the application. Return it with a nonrefundable application fee of $40. Eligible students may submit official fee waivers authorized by a counselor or advisor.
  • Submit an academic letter of recommendation completed by an instructor and counselor.

Freshman candidates
High school seniors and students with less than 24 transferable hours must also submit:
  • An official high school transcript
  • High school class rank
  • Official results of the SAT or ACT

Transfer candidates
Must also submit:
  • Official transcripts from all colleges attended, whether or not credit was earned
  • An official transcript showing final class rank and SAT or ACT results (may be waived under special circumstances)

International candidates
Must also submit:
  • Official transcripts (with certified English translations) showing all secondary and postsecondary courses and grades
  • O and A levels (or other national examination results), if applicable
  • Official results of the TOEFL
  • The University of Dallas educational history form
  • The confirmation of financial resources form, certified by a bank official
  • A copy of your passport (if available)

Additional information
Official supporting documents may be included if they are in envelopes sealed by a high school or university official. They may also be submitted separately. Please note that unofficial transcripts and score reports will not be reviewed by the admission committee.

Admission notification by January 15
*Applying for Early Action ensures priority consideration for scholarships.

Spring transfer student deadline
January 15 Priority freshman scholarship deadline
Admission notification by March 1
Freshman students who wish to receive priority scholarship consideration must apply by this date.
February 15 Priority fall international student deadline
International students applying for the fall semester should apply by this date.
March 1 Freshman regular admission deadline

Priority fall financial aid deadline
March 2 Beginning of freshman rolling admission
July 1 Priority fall transfer student deadline
Transfer students who wish to receive priority scholarship consideration must apply by this date.
August 1 Final application deadline
All applicants seeking admission for the fall semester must apply by this date.

Instructions

To complete this online application, type your answers in the corresponding fields or select your answers from the popup lists (where applicable).

After you complete a screen, click the NEXT button at the bottom or on one of the sections listed on the left column to move to a different screen. Before you are allowed to jump screens, we will inspect your data on the current screen for errors or inconsistencies. If errors or omissions are found, you will be returned to the screen to correct your answer(s). Otherwise, your data will be saved and you will proceed to the requested screen. We also allow you to skip to another screen without your new data being saved. Be aware that if you use the Skip & Jump function on the left column, data on the current screen will not be saved and will have to be reentered prior to submittal.
