CAMPUS SUMMARY
Texas Christian University is a private, coeducational, person-centered teaching and research institution. TCU offers undergraduate programs in arts, sciences, business, education, fine arts, communications, nursing, and engineering. The faculty's commitment to effective teaching and research/scholarly work helps to promote learning in an atmosphere of discovery. A range of student life programs encourages personal growth and individual achievement, while opportunities to expand leadership skills are emphasized.

TCU is historically related to, but not governed by the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), a mainstream Protestant denomination that encourages understanding among the world religions. There are more than 40 religious groups represented in the student body and 18 recognized religious organizations, including groups for Jewish and Muslim students, faculty and staff.

UNIQUE/SPECIAL PROGRAMS
The TCU campus covers 237 acres of residential Fort Worth, Texas and is 35 miles west of Dallas. Tree-shaded lawns front buildings that complement each other architecturally, but range from neo-Georgian to contemporary in style.

Texas Christian University offers general studies degrees, combined degrees, student-designed and dual majors, and non-degree study. 3/2 programs are available in business, education, and economics. Internships are available in almost all major areas. The university also offers a Washington semester, student exchange in Japan and Mexico, study abroad in 28 countries, and study at its London Center.
